The Tinsley law firm in Athens, Texas is helmed by Christopher D. Tinsley, PC. Chris is a graduate of Austin College, the University of Economics in Prague, and Baylor University School of Law.
At Baylor, Chris was awarded with a merit scholarship, the Funderburk award as the outstanding student of Evidence, and was a three-time member of the Dean's list. He went on to graduate Baylor in the top 15% of his class.
After Baylor, Chris returned home to Athens to practice civil litigation and real property law. As a litigator, he has tried many cases to verdict both to the bench and to juries. As a practitioner of real property law, he has drafted and overseen the closing of thousands of residential real estate transactions. He is also the owner of Trinity Valley Abstract and Title, LLC.
Chris and his wife Sarah reside in their hometown of Athens, Texas. They are active in the community. Chris is currently on the board of directors for CASA of Henderson County, and has served on numerous charitable boards since his return home. He is also a former Adjunct Professor of Texas and United States Constitutional Government at Trinity Valley Community College. Most importantly, he is the proud father of three children, Amelia, Sean, and Liam.
